I've been through this help forum and seen the suggestion that 2.79 may not be the best version to be using. I've checked that Blender has a the Sims4Studio Import-Export add-on enabled, and it does. Indeed, using a file comparison program, it says all the files are binary identical - no mesh, rig or animation data. I've also clicked Animation to create a new package, then Studio>Clips to create either a blank animation or extract an animation from the base game. I've tried selecting the other clip - same result. ![]() However, when I open it in Blender 2.79 - its empty apart from a few lights and a camera. If I select a clip and the required rig and hit export, I get a. Reloaded the package, and the Studio>Clips tab showed that it contains the expected clips. I exported a couple of clips from a package, and reimported them to make a new package. I've followed the tutorial in /thread/18485/extract-animation I'm trying to export animations from the base game and downloaded packages so I can modify them in Blender.
